Annuals are a fantastic way to add long lasting color to your garden for the growing season and beyond. We have easy to care for annuals, shade tolerant annuals, deer or rabbit resistant annuals and hummingbird or pollinator friendly annuals.

Perennials
Perennials are plants that return year after year, bringing lasting beauty to your garden. With a variety of colors, textures, and bloom times, they provide continuous interest and can be a low-maintenance, eco-friendly choice for any landscape. We have pollinator friendly perennials, deer and rabbit resistant perennials along with drought tolerant perennials. Our selection of perennials are hand picked to thrive in Coastal New England's climate.
We carry many common perennials such as yarrow, coneflowers, peonies, salvias, catmint, baptistia, bee balm, lavender and many, many more.
Native Plants
Did you know Emma's grandmother had a part in forming the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society? Planting natives has become extremely important to help save pollinators. At Shickasheen we have a variety of Eco Type 59 Natives, straight species natives and native cultivars.
Shrubs + Bushes
We typically carry hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, wegelia, blueberry, dappled willow, hibiscus, viburnum, winterberry and butterfly bushes. Our stock is always changing!
If we don't have something in stock we can usually get it that week.
